Geetanjali Dhillon is the Chief Marketing Officer at XPRIZE, leading the organization’s global marketing, brand strategy, communications, and audience engagement efforts. With a focus on expanding XPRIZE’s reach and impact, she oversees brand positioning, digital engagement, and strategic partnerships to amplify the organization’s mission.

Geetanjali brings over 20 years of experience driving growth and innovation in media and entertainment. Before joining XPRIZE, she advised C-suite executives at global entertainment companies on navigating media disruption. As Chief Marketing Officer of Funimation, a Sony-owned subsidiary, she spearheaded the growth of its direct-to-consumer streaming business, doubling its subscriber base in two years. Under her leadership, Funimation also released Dragon Ball Super: Broly, one of the highest-grossing anime films of all time, surpassing box office expectations by 200%.

Prior to Funimation, Geetanjali led consumer marketing, communications, and digital strategy for Sony’s U.S. television networks, successfully launching Cine Sony Television and getTV. She has also held key leadership roles at Netflix, Univision, AMC Networks, and NBC, driving digital transformation and market expansion. As Head of South Asia Business at Jaman, she negotiated groundbreaking content deals that brought 30 of India’s finest films online for the first time, cementing Jaman as a leading digital destination for Indian cinema.

Geetanjali began her career as a civil rights litigator and has served as Executive Director of a diversity-focused nonprofit. She holds a law degree and has remained a passionate advocate for innovation, inclusivity, and strategic growth throughout her career.
