George Votis is the Chairman, CEO and founder of Galt Industries, Inc. Galt focuses on three primary areas. It is a private management company, with expertise in the consolidation of fragmented industries. It owns and manages industrial real estate properties, and is an active investor in early stage technology ventures.
George is also the founder and owner of the Techniplas Group of companies. Techniplas employs over 2,000 people and is primarily a supplier of technical components to the automotive industry globally.
In addition to sitting on the boards of the companies in which he maintains ownership, George is a member of the Big Apple Chapter of the World Presidents Organization. He had the honor to be chosen by The World Economic Forum as a Global Leader for Tomorrow. He has served as a Corporate Member of The Council on Foreign Relations, and as a founding Board Member of the New York Center for Children. He was a past Chairman of the New York Metro Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization and served on the Tufts University International Board of Overseers.
George received his BA from Tufts University, and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
